Pink Sand Beach
Widely considered to be located on the most desirable stretch of Harbour Island’s famous Pink Sands beach, Valentines’ private beach is nothing short of paradise. Our new long stretch of boardwalk makes your short walk to the beach even easier. Our beautiful boardwalk not only makes the journey to the sand a breeze, but offers breathtaking views of the clear, turquoise water along the way.

Valentines Dive Center
Valentines Dive Center is the leading PADI dive resort facility in the area. Whether you are an avid diver or just wish to explore the waters off Harbour Island for the first time, the Dive Center at Valentines Resort & Marina can accommodate your needs. Harbour Island is surrounded by exquisite coral reefs, grottos, underwater blow holes, wall and wreck dives, and high speed drift dives—overall some of the best diving in the world. Valentines Resort & Marina has custom-made dive boats and full scuba equipment rentals. Canon and Olympus underwater cameras (housings as well) for rent or purchase. Valentines Resort & Marina can also set you up with kayaks, paddleboards, small boat rentals or simply a cruise around the islands. Eco tours are available by request, blue hole dives, bat caves, sea horses, and so much more.

The new Valentines Fitness Center is now open for our resort and marina guests. It is a total workout experience with a variety of strength, conditioning and cardio equipment. For over 35 years Valentines Dive Center has been providing world-class scuba diving and snorkeling trips. The top-of-the-line dive boats (36’ Sea Hawk, 32’ Island Hopper and 25 ‘ AquaSport) can take you comfortably to where you want to go—whether privately chartered or as part of another group. Valentines Resort & Marina offers dives ranging from 15’ to 120’ in depth, as well as the exciting “Current Cut” drift dive.
With over 35 dive and snorkel sites to choose from in a 15 mile radius we feel confident you will find an exciting adventure waiting for you. The PADI professionals (from Austria, Canada, The Bahamas, and Scotland) at Valentines Resort & Marina are in the water to guide you every step of the way on every dive. All of the training is done in Valentines large resort pool, and they offer great watersports resort wear in our dive center boutique—like Maui Jim sunglasses, Scuba Pro equipment, rash guards, hats, t-shirts, sunscreen. SAFE FUN is the key… our motto is to take you ‘’Where the Ocean Meets the Sky’’. Co-owner George Gross has over 45 years experience diving in over 40 countries and our team knows what it takes to earn customer satisfaction.
All fishing sites in Eleuthera & Harbour Island are natural ecosystems that offer great bonefishing opportunities, reef fishing, bottom fishing in the mangrove thickets and small bays throughout the area, and deep see fishing for the largest gamefish. Professional guides can take you out and fishing trips are easily arranged through Valentines.
Valentines Residences Resort & Marina’s own Calico Trader’s is the perfect place to start for stylish apparel, handbags and beachbags, beachwear, gifts and sundries. And for nightlife, Rooster Tail bar & Grill offers up dockside dining and cocktails with giant TVs for your favorite sporting events. We frequently have live local acts on weekend evenings. Of course, Harbour Island offers more than just our own enclave of restaurants and shopping.
